Tournament Information

  1. Tournament Fee of $550 per team, Checks made payable to: City of North Mankato -ALL fees must be received prior to July 14th!
  2. Completed ASA National Championship Entry Form (completed & signed by your state ASA commissioner)
  3. Send team photo for the tournament program to by 10am CST on July 14th
  4. Completed ASA National Championship Roster (completed & signed by your state ASA commissioner)
  5. Completed ASA Pick-Up Player Form (if you are using one it must be signed by your state ASA commissioner)
  6. Register at Tournament USARegister Now
  7. Coaches must show their ACE Certification card or proof they have one at check-in.  Teams MUST have at least one coach that is ACE certified on the field or in the dugout with you at ALL times. ACE Certification
  8. ALL dugout personnel must be ASA Background checked and must have proof of the completed background check to get a coaches pass at check-in
  9. Proof of team insurance - either through Bollinger or other insurance provider
  10. Each player MUST have a photo ID to check-in (drivers license, school ID, ASA Card or signed photo)
    * Each team member MUST check-in individually before competing*
  11. BAT TESTING: All bats will need to be tested prior to the start of your first game.  Please bring all bats that will be used to team check-in to be tested!

Tournament Draw Information

Pool Play draw will be done in advance of teams arriving and posted on the tournament website no later than July 15th.  Pool Play Brackets will be completed, however the double elimination bracket will be empty - showing a number - indicating which place you finished in the pool.  You will then draw a game number according to how you finish in pool play for placement.  Pool Play begins on Wednesday, July 22nd  Double Elimination immediately follows Pool Play.  Teams are guaranteed five (5) games.  Teams will turn in their tournament evaluation form when their last Pool Play game is complete and draw for bracket placement at the same location as team check-in at Caswell Park within 60 minutes from the conclusion of their last pool play game.

Coach Information

Tournament coaches passes MUST be worn by any bench coaching personnel during games.  All coaches wishing to be in the dugouts will need to have a coaching pass.
Tournament passes will be provided for all rostered players and 3 coaches (max of 20).  Bat persons, scorekeepers or other coaches are to be included in the 3 complimentary coaches passes. Additional coaches passes can be purchased at check-in for $25 each. Passes will be distributed at coaches check-in.
