Junior Tennis Camps
Information
These introductory tennis clinics help new players learn the game! 2 different sessions will be held for 2 weeks each Monday through Thursday, with Friday being a makeup day if needed. Available to youth in 2nd through 7th grade with limited equipment available. Free shirt included!.
It is recommended that any player too old or are tennis match ready visit www.tennisinmankato.com for advanced lessons
For all camps please wear tennis shoes, bring water, and a racquet. (Limited racquets will be available to borrow if necessary)
2nd-4th grade: Group games and interactive play will be the core of this program along with development of fundamental strokes.
11:30am - 12:30pm
5th-7th grade: Players will work on topspin ground-strokes, volleys, and continental serves gaining the capacity for rally tennis and games.
12:30-1:30pm
Classes are limited to 14 per group. Players can be moved to other age grouping with permission of parents/guardians.
